This Privacy Policy explains how PolyMind ("PolyMind," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PolyMind application and website at polymind.site (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Usage data. We automatically collect limited technical information such as device type, browser, general usage activity, and log data to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time spent, and general geographic region. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Optional contact information. If you redeem a Pro activation code, you may optionally provide your email address for code recovery purposes. If you submit feedback, you may optionally provide your email so we can reply. Providing an email is never required to use the Service.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a Pro plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our servers; that information is handled directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.

Communication preferences. If you opt in to browser push notifications, we use your device's push subscription to deliver real-time market alerts you have requested. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your browser settings.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process Pro plan subscriptions and activate purchased features
• Deliver real-time market alerts you have opted in to receive
• Respond to feedback or support requests when you provide contact information
• Analyze aggregate usage to improve features, performance, and security

AI-generated content

PolyMind uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to generate market analysis for you. When you request an AI analysis of an alert, the alert's market context (question text, outcome prices, volume, and alert details) is transmitted to the relevant AI provider solely to produce results for you. The providers we use include:

• Groq (default) — Llama 3.3 70B model via groq.com
• Anthropic Claude — when you supply your own Claude API key
• Google Gemini — when you supply your own Gemini API key

User-supplied API keys are forwarded through our server-side proxy solely to fulfill your request and are never logged or stored.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service:

• Netlify — hosting, serverless functions, and feedback storage
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Groq / Anthropic / Google — AI analysis (see above)
• Google Analytics — aggregate usage analytics

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention

Alert history is stored locally on your device for up to 7 days and is never transmitted to our servers. We retain feedback submissions and optional contact emails for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, after which they are deleted. Stripe retains billing records under its own retention policy.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@polymind.app.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. API keys supplied by users are never logged or persisted on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

PolyMind is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. By using the Service you consent to such processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
